Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the most humane way to manage populations of feral, unadoptable cats. It refers to trapping, spaying or neutering and vaccinating such cats, then returning them to the neighborhoods or colonies they are familiar with. Since cats can breed as often as 3x a year, TNR can dramatically and successfully decrease populations of stray cats, leading to smaller and healthier populations. Our JAWS organization also loans out traps to individuals interested in trapping and TNR’ing strays in their neighborhood and being part of the solution! Contact us to borrow a trap now!
